Nottingham Forest Agree £25.9 Million Deal for ‘Major Talent’

Nottingham Forest narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification, but did qualify for the Europa League. The departure of Anthony Elanga was a blow, but Forest have made some new signings and secured the future of Morgan Gibbs-White. Sacha Tavolieri is now reporting that Arnaud Kalimuendo will travel to England on August 15 to complete his move to Nottingham Forest, with the medical also expected.

French Forward Set for City Ground Move

Despite the departure of Elanga, Forest have signed some new players, with Dan Ndoye, Igor Jesus, and Jair Cunha joining Nuno Espírito Santo’s squad. Alongside Elanga, Harry Toffolo, Matt Turner, and Danilo have all departed the City Ground. It looks set to be an interesting season at the club next season with European football to contend with, alongside the rigours of the Premier League. Kalimuendo looks set to be the next player through the door, with a transfer package of £25.9m agreed.

It looked likely Morgan Gibbs-White would also leave the City Ground and join Tottenham Hotspur, but the player has done a U-turn, signing a new three-year contract at the City Ground, giving Forest a significant boost. Gibbs-White staying is a huge shot in the arm for the club, as will be the impending signing of Kalimuendo.
