Opinion: The most practical way
Looking at Sancho’s situation, it seems that United will have to make a quick decision. Keeping a player in the final year of his contract on the bench for a long time is not in anyone’s interest. Sending him to Besiktas on loan, as well as Sancho cutting his salary, will be right for the club both financially and sportingly.
This will give United relief in the salary bill, and Sancho himself will get a chance to play. If he performs well in Turkey, his value can increase again. Waiting would mean his value would drop even further. Time is running out, and this deal seems like the most logical way to go before the window closes.
