NFL running back Matt Breida will reportedly retire from the NFL after he rejected a workout request from the injury-riddled Miami Dolphins, who were hoping to sure up their backfield.
Breida played for seven seasons in the NFL, most recently with the San Francisco 49ers, where he took part in their training camp before being released and unclaimed by another franchise.
The 30-year-old tailback had his best NFL season in his first stint with the 49ers when he had 1,075 total yards and five touchdowns in 14 games.
