Leeds United had a well planned transfer window in the first two months of pre-season. But some hiccups set the club on another route.
Losing out on Igor Paixao was a huge blow. This has lead to the club scrambling to find alternatives over the past few weeks. This is a similar situation with Rodrigo Muniz, the Fulham man is expected to leave to Italy.

Earlier today, Leeds were linked with a move for Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ionnadis. The report claimed that Daniel Farke was looking for even more firepower up front. Leeds are not done with new signings, and are pushing to complete one before this weekend.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to undergo a medical before completing a deal with the Whites.
Sports journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos has reported that Panathinaikos will be looking for up to £25million for the 25-year old.

Leeds warned about Calvert-Lewin deal
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will undergo his medical soon, and could be unveiled as a new Leeds United player in the next few hours. Gary Lineker has already had his say on this move, he thinks the former Everton man is currently a shadow of his former self:
“He’s got all the attributes [but], he’s not a clean finisher and that for a striker is an issue. He’s never going to be a 20/25 goals a season player even in a side that’s really attacking and has got creative players. I think in the end in football, you find your level.”
Ioannidis signing is not necessary
There are so many question marks about this signing. First of all, why would Daniel Farke sign four players to compete for the same position. If a deal for Ioannidis goes through, that means there will be four center forwards at the club.
Signing the Panathinaikos man is not necessary, considering there are other areas of the squad that need serious attention. Leeds should really not pursue a move for the 25-year old.
