MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) – On Thursday, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced the team’s 2025-26 regular season schedule, as the team looks to build on its success from last year.
The Timberwolves made it to the Western Conference Semifinals last season before being eliminated by the eventual champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The regular season will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. CT. against the Portland Trail Blazers. This is reportedly the first time in team history that the Timberwolves will begin a season on the road against the Trail Blazers, and the second instance of opening against Portland overall, after they opened against the Trail Blazers in Minnesota for the 2005-06 season.
The first home game at the Target Center will begin on Sunday, Oct. 26, when they take on the Eastern Conference Champion Indiana Pacers. That game is slated to get underway at 6 p.m.
Other highlights of the team’s schedule include home games against the defending champion Thunder on Friday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Jan. 29. LeBron James and the Lakers will make their lone visit to Minnesota on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Steph Curry and the Warriors visit Minnesota on Saturday, Jan. 24 and Monday, Jan. 26.
The All-Star break is scheduled for Feb. 13 to Feb. 18, with All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles slated for Feb. 13-15.
