CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Charlotte Hornets have announced their schedule for the 2025-26 NBA regular season.
The Hornets begin their season with the home opener at Spectrum Center on Wednesday, October 22, at 7 p.m. vs. the Brooklyn Nets.
This will be the first opportunity for fans to experience the fully transformed Spectrum Center, which has undergone renovations over the past two offseasons.
The Hornets will not have home preseason games due to Spectrum Center renovations.
Charlotte will play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, October 5, in North Charleston, South Carolina, and the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, October 15, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Hornets will host several marquee matchups in Charlotte this season including:
· Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, November 1 at 6 p.m.
· LeBron James, Luka Doncic and the L.A. Lakers on Monday, November 10 at 7 p.m.
· Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, November 15 at 7 p.m.
· Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Wednesday, November 26 at 7 p.m. (night before Thanksgiving) and Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m.
· Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, December 7 at 6 p.m.
· Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, December 29 at 7 p.m.
· Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, December 31 at 1 p.m. (New Year’s Eve)
· Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, January 31 at 3 p.m.
· Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Thursday, February 19 at 7 p.m.
· No. 1 2025 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
Charlotte’s longest homestand of the season is seven games from March 17-29, highlighted by three consecutive Eastern Conference matchups with the New York Knicks on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m., the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m. and the Boston Celtics only visit to the Spectrum Center on Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m.
Charlotte’s schedule features 17 weekend home games, including five on Fridays, nine on Saturdays and three on Sundays. The Hornets play 16 sets of back-to-back games with six of those consisting of consecutive home games.
Emirates NBA Cup schedule
The Hornets will play two home games during the Emirates NBA Cup against the New York Knicks on November 26 before a meeting with the Chicago Bulls on November 28. As part of the Emirates NBA Cup, the 82-game schedule includes two games between December 10-16 that will be announced after the end of Group Play.
Nationally televised games this season
The Hornets are scheduled to play three nationally televised games this season: December 22 at Cleveland, January 21 vs. Cleveland and January 31 vs. San Antonio.

Single-game tickets will go on sale on Saturday, August 16, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on the Hornets website, on Ticketmaster or on the Hornets app.
