Wizards to be featured in just two national broadcasts next season, least in NBA

No NBA team will have fewer nationally broadcast games this season than the Wizards. The NBA released its full schedule for the upcoming campaign on Thursday, including the broadcast schedule with new partners NBC and Prime Video.

The Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors each have just two nationally televised games scheduled.

Washington will face the Detroit Pistons on NBC’s Peacock streaming service on Nov. 10 before hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Prime Video on Jan. 29.

The Wizards open the season in Milwaukee against the Bucks on Oct. 22. Their home opener is set for Oct. 26 against the Charlotte Hornets.

Washington will play on three holidays next season with a New Year’s Eve matchup in Milwaukee, a Martin Luther King Jr. Day clash with the Los Angeles Clippers and a trip to Brooklyn on Easter Sunday.
