What to know about the Jazz's 2025-26 schedule, which was released Thursday

On Thursday the 2025-26 NBA schedule was released in full, giving Utah Jazz fans the first full look at what they can expect from the 82-game grind.

The Jazz will open the season at the Delta Center on Oct. 22 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Not only will this be the first game of the season but it will bring a familiar face to Salt Lake City in John Collins, who was traded to the Clippers during the offseason.

It’s a season bookended by L.A. games with the Jazz set to conclude the regular-season schedule on April 12 in Los Angeles against the Lakers.

Fans will no doubt laser in on the Jan. 8 matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, which will mark the first time that No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg will journey to Utah and face No. 5 pick Ace Bailey.

January will end up quite exciting for local fans, with a six-game home stand that closes out the month and features the Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Clippers, Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets.

Immediately following that home stand, the Jazz will embark on a taxing five-game road trip that will cover the NBA trade deadline. This stretch begins on Jan. 30 and takes the team across the country, challenging their endurance with games against Brooklyn, Toronto, Indiana, Atlanta and Orlando. The Feb. 5 game in Atlanta coincides with the trade deadline, providing an additional layer of intrigue as roster changes could loom.

Currently, only two Jazz games are slated for national broadcast: at home against the Clippers on Jan. 27 (NBC/Peacock), and on the road against the Houston Rockets on Feb. 23.

The limited exposure is not surprising and could get even smaller. As the season progresses, there’s a chance the Jazz could lose out on the national broadcast spots in favor of more high-profile games.

The full schedule pdf can be found here, and we’ll provide more schedule analysis in the coming days.
