Sacramento Kings basketball is (sort of) almost here.
The Kings unveiled their 2025-26 regular season schedule, meaning you can mark your calendars and start targeting the games you won’t want to miss this coming season.
Sacramento will open the season on the road this year, facing the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, October 22nd, before returning to Golden 1 Center to face the Utah Jazz on Friday, October 24th.
After facing the Jazz in their home opener, the Kings will face LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and the Los Angeles Lakers in Sacramento on Sunday, October 26th.

Group play for the 2025 NBA Cup will begin on October 31st. All games in the knockout round will be aired on Amazon Prime.
The third annual in-season competition will tip off on Friday, Oct. 31 and culminate with the Championship on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
All tournament games will be played in NBA team markets except the Semifinals and Championship, both of which will be held at a neutral site (Las Vegas).
All 30 teams will participate in the first stage of the tournament, Group Play. Eight teams will advance to the second and final stage, the single-elimination Knockout Rounds.
When is the next Sacramento Kings game?
Sacramento Kings preseason basketball is on the way, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer before we see the Beam Team back in action.
The Kings will open up their preseason slate on Wednesday, October 8th, at home against the Toronto Raptors. You can see the full preseason schedule below.
