“This Would Change Everything” Massive Cowboys – Packers Trade Rumor Goes Viral From Reputable…

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are two of the most iconic franchises in the NFL. Coincidentally, they’re both entering 2025 looking to show the league that they have what it takes to win a Super Bowl. However, the two clubs could be in business prior to the start of the season.

Breaking: Massive Cowboys – Packers Trade Rumor Goes Viral From Reputable Source

A trade rumor involving Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has surfaced this afternoon. However, fans don’t seem ready to start buying new jerseys yet:

A user on X by the name of “@RickeyScoops” or “Rickey” took to the platform a short while ago to report on a rumor that they heard. According to Rickey, the Green Bay Packers have put forth a “very serious trade offer” for the All-Pro pass rusher.

“BARKING RUMOR. Even though I don’t think he will be traded, the #Packers have a very serious trade offer on the table to the #Cowboys for Micah Parsons #GoPackGo #DallasCowboys,” they wrote.

This rumor hasn’t been confirmed or even acknowledged by major news outlets but received no small amount of spreading on social media.

Numerous fans gave it acknowledgement, but the majority of fans quickly dismissed it as misinformation:

“When was the last time the Packers traded for a high profile player? Reggie White was the last player of Micah’s caliber they signed decades ago! Click bait!” one Cowboys fan replied.

“People still think this dude has sources lol,” wrote another.

“Not hating on Rickey here. There are probably 5 other teams trying to get Micah as well lol. Jerry has already said he’s not trading him,” a third wrote.

“LOL, sure there is Rickey…sure there is.”

“Their firsts will basically be seconds, so no. And no either way. We want Micah.”

Whether you believe that a trade offer has been made or not, something has to give in this contract standoff between the Cowboys and Micah Parsons.

The Cowboys have made it clear that they won’t negotiate with Parsons on a new deal on Parsons’ terms (terms which seem to simply include having his agent do the negotiating for him). Meanwhile, Parsons has publicly requested a trade from the team.

It really seems like the sides are simply too far apart for their to be any sort of reconciliation between them. At this point, Dallas would probably have to pay even more than they were ready to just to appease him.

Have we seen the last of Micah Parsons in a Cowboys uniform?
