Minnesota Timberwolves release schedule for 2025-26 season

Wolves Back… or at least the team’s schedule is for the upcoming season.

The 2025-26 schedule was released on Thursday and features 28 nationally televised games.

The Timberwolves will open the regular season on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on Oct. 22 and play their first home game against the Eastern Conference-champion Indiana Pacers on Oct. 26.

Some highlights of the home schedule include an Oct. 29 matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, Dec. 19 and Jan. 29 against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, the return of Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks on Dec. 23, and Jan. 24 and 26 against the Golden State Warriors.

The Timberwolves will also take on the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day at 9:30 p.m.

In addition, Minnesota will play its first of four Group Play games as part of the Emirates NBA Cup at home on Nov. 7. The Timberwolves are in West Group A, which also consists of the Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz.
