Leeds United mark their return to the Premier League on Monday. Daniel Farke's side host Everton at Elland Road in their first top-flight game for more than two years after promotion from the Championship.
The Whites enjoyed a positive pre-season, having won two and drawn three of their five fixtures. They beat German duo SC Verl and SC Paderborn, while drawing against Manchester United, Villarreal and AC Milan.
Off the pitch, Farke's men have signed seven players. Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Lucas Perri and Anton Stach have arrived at Elland Road so far.
However, Farke is still desperate to add more strength and depth in attack, with a deal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to sign from Everton all-but agreed. With this in mind, here is the latest transfer news concerning the Whites...
Okafor fee
According to Calcio Mercato, AC Milan have received concrete interest in Leeds target Noah Okafor in the summer transfer window. The Italian publication states that Bologna, who are looking to replace Dan Ndoye after he made the move to Nottingham Forest earlier this summer, have made an offer for Okafor.
Mercato add: "Leeds are not the first club to be on the trail of Okafor; Bologna have also been evaluating the Swiss AC Milan striker for weeks to fill the void left by compatriot Dan Ndoye, who was sold to Nottingham Forest.
"The Rossoblu have taken concrete steps by presenting an initial proposal to Milan, a loan with an option to buy for a total package of €15-16 million [approximately £13 million].
"However, the offer hasn't convinced the Rossoneri management."
LeedsLive says: The fact Bologna have had a loan with option to buy for £13m rejected by AC Milan means that the Serie A club will be after more OR a permanent deal for the 25-year-old. Okafor impressed against Leeds in Dublin last weekend and he doesn't appear to be part of Massimiliano Allegri's long-term plans at the San Siro.
Should Leeds be able to get Okafor for as little as £15m on a straight permanent deal or a loan with an obligation if the Whites stay in the Premier League, then I think it's a good deal all-round. Leeds need attacking signings.
Solomon preference
Manor Solomon's preference is a return to Leeds United this summer, according to the Evening Standard. A decision was made during Tottenham's pre-season tour in Asia that the Israel international would be allowed to leave Spurs again either through a loan or a permanent move.
Now, it has been revealed that Solomon has made it clear his preference is a move back to West Yorkshire, following a successful loan spell at the Whites last season.
LeedsLive says: Leeds should do all they can get Solomon back for the new season. He was integral to winning promotion last time out and I think he has got a point to prove in the Premier League.
His last spell in the top flight was cut short due to injury and I believe that he, like several of Leeds' current squad, can make the step up and become an established Premier League player.
