Everton have Sheffield United striker Tyrese Campbell on their transfer radar this summer.
The 25-year-old is the son of the late Toffees legend Kevin Campbell, who previously struck 45 goals across a seven-year stay at Goodison Park.
Everton are tracking Campbell, who scored the Blades’ only goal in their shock 4-1 defeat at home to Bristol City on the opening day of the Championship campaign.
David Moyes’ team have already added six new faces to their squad this summer, but their work in the market looks unlikely to slow down any time soon, and they now have the frontman in their sights.

Campbell tipped ‘to consider’ Everton move despite initial stance
Campbell has reservations about an Everton move, as the striker is believed to be keen to remain at Sheffield United and repay the trust that they have shown in him.

The Blades picked the former Stoke City star up as a free agent last summer, and he produced the best goal tally of his career so far in 2024/25.
He hit 11 goals in the Championship, including a strike which put his team ahead in the play-off final, and ultimately almost saw them promoted to the Premier League.

Ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes that Campbell has to consider a move to Merseyside, despite the initial stance that he has taken.
“I think it would be a great move,” King said.
“Campbell’s father had a great affiliation with Everton, and wouldn’t it be great if his son could return and fulfil the things that Kevin did.
“I know Everton and the Campbell family have a very good relationship, and I can’t see that he’s going to go too far with Sheffield United this year.
“He has to consider it.
“If a club like Everton are going to come in for him, and with his father’s history at the club. You’d certainly be honoured that the club would want to bring you there.”

Campbell could be a shrewd acquisition for the Toffees
Beto’s struggles could see Everton target another striker in the final few weeks of the window, and Campbell may be a sensible option.
He may not be a particularly big name by Premier League standards, but he has been a thorn in the side of Championship defences for several years now.
The Championship has been a fruitful avenue for Moyes in the past, as the Scot has previously had success by bringing the likes of Jarrod Bowen from the second tier, and he could easily strike gold on this occasion too.
The Toffees need a little more depth at the top of the pitch to complement their current options, and Campbell could be the perfect man to operate in an impact role.
