Player has‘confided his desire’ to leave Arsenal–Club offered chance to sign him

In June, TuttoJuve covered Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko being offered to a host of Italian sides.

Back then, no clubs had made a formal move for the versatile defender but the situation could now be evolving.

Il Mattino, as relayed by CalcioNapoli1926, report that Napoli’s interest in the Ukraine international is growing stronger.

The 28-year-old has ‘confided his desire’ to leave Arsenal, having played only 15 Premier League games last season.

The Naples newspaper note that Zinchenko has been offered to multiple clubs once again and while there is competition from AC Milan, Napoli are keen on the idea of a loan move.

They report that Arsenal will be open to paying half of the player’s current wages of €7.6m to help his loan exit, and the last few days of the transfer window can prove important for Zinchenko’s future.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte is looking for a left-back this summer and believes the Ukraine international will be a good addition, as he can also help during build-up in possession.
