At this point, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to Taylor Swift and her dedicated fanbase.
The Kansas City Chiefs star player, 29, has won multiple Super Bowls alongside teammate Travis Kelce - who happens to be dating the billionaire pop star, 35.
In ESPN's new original series The Kingdom, which premieres Thursday, Aug. 14, Mahomes will open up about Swift and her fanbase's influence on the celebrated NFL team, as Us reported.
The all-new show focuses on the Chiefs' 2014 season, and a promotional clip from The Kingdom revealed Mahomes discussing the infamous Swifties.
"I'm interested to see what camp looks like this year," Mahomes said during training camp. "Obviously, we got a big fan base with the Swifties coming. I'm interested to see if it's even crazier, if that makes sense... We've got a lot of media around us."
Swift and Kelce, 35, confirmed their relationship back in October 2023. The "Lover" singer was first spotted at a Chiefs game in September of that year, when the team hosted the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
In ESPN's new docuseries about Kansas City, other members of the community weigh in on the Swift-Kelce dynamic as well, as Us reports.
"I asked Travis after staying the summer at five-star hotels around the world, what was it going to be like to come back for training camp," Kansas City Star writer Blair Kerkhoff says in the show, which was filmed last year. "He said he missed the cinder block walls of training camp."
Plus, viewers will hear from Kelce himself in The Kingdom, as expected.
"One of the coolest things about being here in Kansas City is that it does feel like a big ol' family," the Chiefs tight end says in a testimonial, per Us. "We've been fortunate to have a lot of the same guys come in year in, year out. The core group has been here for quite a bit now."
