The Premier League season is almost upon us, with the first ball being kicked this evening as champions Liverpool take on Bournemouth. Chelsea supporters have got to be a bit more patient, with the Blues in action on Sunday afternoon against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Today, head coach Enzo Maresca takes on his first pre-match press conference of the new campaign, with the Italian set to speak to the media from 9:30am (UK time) at the club’s training base in Cobham. No doubt there will be one or two questions about Chelsea’s transfer plans as the Blues look to conclude deals for Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho, while Maresca is also likely to be quizzed on prospective outgoings before the September 1 deadline.
