'Here we go': Fabrizio Romano says £37m Everton target is set for medical with PL rivals

Everton have now discovered the winner in the race to sign one of their winger targets.

There remains room for movement in the transfer window at Everton despite a positive week of arrivals.

David Moyes has demanded nine new signings at Everton this summer, and there are still positions which need bolstering.

Having added the likes of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to the squad, Everton are looking to sign a new right winger.

There are a number of options out there on the radar of Angus Kinnear.

Everton News understands that Everton have a six-man shortlist at right-wing as potential alternatives to Tyler Dibling.

However, on Friday morning, one of those players has had to be crossed off the list.

Forest placed an opening bid for Hutchinson of £35m, but saw that rebuffed by Kieran McKenna’s side.

Now, just days on, the Reds have struck a £37m agreement for the winger, who is now set to undergo a medical.

Everton remain interested in Dibling and will now have to resort to their list of updated targets.

Landing Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall may provide Kinnear some breathing room to find the right winger, but just a couple of weeks remain in the window.

Everton must now focus on signing Tyler Dibling

Southampton have issued Everton a Dibling counter-offer, having previously said they will not sell for less than £50m.

Naturally, there will be some encouragement over a potential agreement being stuck for the 19-year-old.

After three bids, Southampton’s CEO told Everton not to lowball them with their offers for Dibling.

Now, it looks as if the Championship side may be backtracking slightly, with a deal potentially there to be agreed.

With Hutchinson off the list, it is now time for Kinnear to get a deal wrapped up for their number one target.
