Manchester United new boy Benjamin Sesko is in line to spearhead the Red Devils' attack in Sunday's opening Premier League blockbuster with Arsenal at Old Trafford.
The Slovenia international linked up with Ruben Amorim's team after Arsenal put all of their eggs in the Viktor Gyokeres basket, and the Red Devils boss has confirmed that he is fit and ready for his English top-flight debut here.
Amorim also revealed to journalists on Friday that Joshua Zirkzee and Andre Onana have overcome injury problems, but Lisandro Martinez (knee) and Noussair Mazraoui (hamstring) will play no part on the opening day.
Rasmus Hojlund is available for selection amid links with Fulham, but the misfiring Dane will surely lose out to possible long-term successor Sesko, whose aerial excellence could prove pivotal against the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
A new-look front three comprising Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha is not beyond the realm of possibility, especially as Bruno Fernandes can prove just as effective in a deeper midfield role, likely alongside the rejuvenated Casemiro.
Amorim is not short of options in the wing-back areas, but the defensively-minded Diogo Dalot should edge out Amad Diallo, while Patrick Dorgu will brace himself for the Bukayo Saka test on the left.
The Arsenal winger's close friend Luke Shaw is a viable option for the three-man wall alongside Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro, who will protect the fit-again Onana for as long as he remains number one.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; Yoro, Maguire, Shaw; Dalot, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Cunha; Sesko
