Liverpool winger Ben Doak has emerged as a serious target for Leeds United in the transfer window, but there is other interest in the wide forward.
Leeds United need a winger and Ben Doak could be an option for Daniel Farke’s side ahead of the transfer deadline. The Athletic’s Beren Cross believes Leeds have pitched to several wingers in recent weeks.
As a result of that, we suggested Doak of Liverpool as a loan option for Leeds this month. Now, he has since emerged as a serious option, per Cross.
He states Doak is one winger Leeds have discussed and that sources close to the player and Anfield indicated Leeds have expressed interest in the 19-year-old.

Liverpool winger Ben Doak set for AFC Bournemouth move after Leeds interest
Doak is the right profile for a team like Leeds, even if he is young and not yet tested at the level. He has bags of potential. However, the latest suggests they face competition in the race.
West Ham United also like Doak. Per TBR Football, Crystal Palace have a long-standing interest in the Scottish winger after impressing with Middlesbrough before injury curtailed his campaign.
It’s also stated that AS Monaco and Bologna are also interested in Doak, with the 19-year-old winger far down the pecking order at Anfield and battling with Mohamed Salah in his favoured position.
It appears Liverpool are open to selling Doak this window. There have since been further developments on that front as well.

Now, as first called by The Guardian, Doak is closing in on a move to AFC Bournemouth instead of Leeds or West Ham.

The full details of Leeds’ transfer pursuit of Noah Okafor
Outside of Doak, Leeds United News exclusively revealed James Justin and Noah Okafor were two players in talks with Leeds.
However, it’s also stated that any move for the versatile Okafor would impact Manor Solomon’s potential switch.
AC Milan’s Okafor is a serious target for Leeds and it’s since been revealed that it will cost Leeds in excess of £13 million to land Okafor this summer, should their interest materialise into a transfer deal.
Leeds faced Milan in a pre-season friendly last weekend and one of the players who featured for Milan was forward Okafor. It’s since been revealed that Milan want to offload Okafor, too.
He is a vastly different profile to Doak and more of a taller and more powerful player, while also being more of a goalscorer than a playmaker; perhaps Leeds have moved on for a reason already.
