Nominations open for NFL Fan of the Year contest

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Nominations are open for the NFL Fan of the Year contest.

In its fifth year, the contest celebrates fans who spice up the game with their passion for football and serve as a positive force in their families and communities, according to the NFL.

Each of the 32 NFL teams will select one nominee who will receive exclusive experiences throughout the season and represent their club at Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, Feb. 8. One finalist will be crowned the Ultimate Fan of the Year at NFL Honors.

All nominees will receive custom prizes and access to experiences throughout the season.

Bobby Gallo, senior vice president of club business development at the NFL, said the program recognizes “the global reach of fandom.”

The U.S. nomination window runs through 11:59 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29. Entrants must be 21 or older. This year, fans can enter as a pair, or nominate themselves or someone else.

Also, the International Fan of the Year contest will return for its third year honoring fans across 10 global markets.
