“Racism Isn’t the Problem”: NFL Fans Erupt Over the NFL Continuing To Put Social Justice…

For some reason, NFL fans are always commenting about how politics should be kept away from sports. Well, it appears as if the NFL won’t be getting rid of the end zone messages anytime soon.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, he said in his latest column on Thursday,

“Whether the league will admit it or not, it’s currently engaged in a high-wire regarding diversity initiatives, with a desire to do the objectively right thing on one hand and an urgency to placate certain political forces on the other.

As it relates to the messages that have been painted on the back lines of end zones since 2020, those will continue.

Via the Associated Press, all 32 teams will have one of four messages at the back of one end zone: End Racism, Stop Hate, Choose Love, or Inspire Change. At the back of the other other end one will be the message, “It Takes All of Us.”

Here’s the reality. Some messages will invite less scrutiny from anti-DEI types than others. Choose Love, Inspire Change? Fine. End Racism, Stop Hate? Tread lightly.

That said, “End Racism” will be the message for each of the four international games. And the Eagles will rotate through all four messages.”

With the league continuing to do this, there continues to be NFL fans who do not agree with having those messages in the end zone. People feel like those messages have been in the end zone long enough.

It is not a shock by any means that NFL fans had different views of this still transpiring. Here is what some of the fans had to say about the social justice messaging continuing in end zones for the upcoming 2025 NFL season on Twitter:

Racism isn’t the problem. It’s a symptom. Solve the crime and violence problem in our cities and racism will take care of itself.

lol – the whole league is black. Who are these messages for? The people shelling out hundreds or even thousands of dollars to attend a game? Insulting.

— Mike D (@dubiwow) August 15, 2025

who is the “End Racism” messaging for? do they think racists will read that and start questioning their beliefs?

Huge. Was super concerned they were going to stop virtue signaling

— A.J. Larson (@alexjlarson) August 15, 2025

I was racist until the NFL end zone sign told me not to be

There is no doubt that there is some sarcasm from the NFL fans in the comment section. Well, some people find it ridiculous that those messages are still being displayed in endzones during the 2025 NFL season.
