Chelsea reject latest offer for €59,808 per week star who will be frustrated by the Blues…

Chelsea have rejected a loan offer with an obligation to buy worth north of £15 million for Carney Chukwuemeka (Alex Crook).

Despite the Borussia Dortmund bid, he will remain put at Stamford Bridge for now.

The Blues have been trying to shift him off the books, but want a bigger bid to let him leave the club.

The Chelsea midfielder will be frustrated after seeing the hierarchy block his potential exit.

Chukwuemeka knows he is not in manager Enzo Maresca’s plans for the coming season and wants to leave the West London outfit to get game time elsewhere.

Most of the interest in Chukwuemeka has come from Germany, where he spent the second half of the season on loan from Chelsea.

The 21-year-old, who earns €59,808 per week, impressed during his short stint with Borussia Dortmund and caught the eyes of other suitors.

Unfortunately, Dortmund have not been able to agree a deal with Chelsea to sign him permanently, allowing other parties to enter the race.

Die Schwarz Gelben approached Chelsea over a transfer, and so did RB Leipzig. However, nothing has materialised so far.

Dortmund might have to move quickly to land the Chelsea ace. The Blues are trying to sign RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons and might use Chukwuemeka to sweeten the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are only waiting to sell Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich before completing a deal for Simons. They are on standby.

The Blues will have more leverage and can push the player to Die Roten Bullen, as Chukwuemeka is similar to Simons.

Besides Chukwuemeka and Nkunku, Chelsea have several players they must shift off the books before the close of the transfer window.

Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling remain on the Chelsea roster and need a new stomping ground.

The Blues could sell striker Nicolas Jackson. They also need loan takers for Tyrique George and David Datro Fofana.
