Ruben Amorim has fired a message to Viktor Gyokeres ahead of Manchester United's Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
Amorim managed Gyokeres at Sporting CP before he left for United last year and the striker has also swapped Portugal for England, signing for Arsenal this summer.
The two will reunite for the marquee fixture of the Premier League's opening weekend which will see the Gunners head to Old Trafford to face United. Gyokeres was heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils but ended up at Emirates Stadium instead after a transfer saga that dominated headlines throughout the summer.
Amorim was asked for his verdict on Gyokeres at a press conference on Friday. "Viktor is in a different league, the physicality is different," he said. "In Sporting, they have a very good group of scouting, because we get from that the players that they can buy and then sell to survive.
"I think he's a very good player, he's going to give different characteristics. "It's going to be different if we face in the beginning of the game if we face Viktor or (Kai) Havertz, for example.

"So, we need to be prepared for that, but it's not a surprise to watch Viktor in a big club in England."
United moved for Benjamin Sesko as their main striker transfer this summer and the former RB Leipzig man is ready to start if needed vs Arsenal, with Amorim hinting it may be a possibility.
"We didn't have a lot of time but he's ready," he said. "First of all, physically, he's ready.
"That is a big component in our league. "Then, he's really smart.
"Every detail he asks, he's a guy that is always thinking. "He spends all afternoon here working on his fitness, so he's ready to play, we will see if he's going to start."
Amorim also gave an injury update ahead of Sunday's clash.
"Nous (Mazraoui) and Licha (Martinez) are out," he said. "They cannot play in this game. Josh (Zirkzee) recovered, Andre (Onana) recovered, they are options for this game, we will see."
