Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was the 36th overall pick (second-round selection) in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Judkins has not signed a contract yet with the Browns.

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (10) takes a handoff from quarterback Joe Flacco (15) during practice at NFL minicamp, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Berea, Ohio.
He has also not appeared in training camp yet for Cleveland, but he may be able to practice at some point in the future with the franchise. Judkins earlier this offseason was arrested on domestic violence charges. Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports reported on Thursday,
“Sources:#Browns rookie RB Quinshon Judkins will not face any formal charges, as prosecutors have declined to move forward with the case. This clears the way for him to return to the team, and I’m told that should likely happen in the near future.”
When this was announced on Thursday, this seemed like a very surprising development for Judkins and the Browns. It will be interesting to see if the NFL will still suspend him or not even with the charges being dropped.

A lot of Browns fans feel like that the franchise is cursed, but many fans felt like they potentially caught a massive break here with Judkins. However, this is what some Cleveland fans had to say about Judkins charges being dropped:

The Browns are going to have to get Judkins up to speed whenever he signs his contract or reports to camp. For now, Jerome Ford and rookie Dylan Sampson will be the two primary guys in the backfield. With that being said, Cleveland will have big plans for Judkins at some point whenever he can report to the team facilities.
