Patrick Bamford has been linked away from Leeds United all summer.
The striker is now clearly past his best at the Yorkshire club, and failed to muster a single goal last season.
As a result, Daniel Farke has told Bamford he is not in his plans, allowing the former England international to find a new club.
However, despite this revolution happening in mid-July, the striker remains on the books at Elland Road.

Leeds should terminate Bamford’s contract
Going into the remaining weeks of the transfer window, Bamford appears to be no closer to leaving Leeds.
MORE LEEDS STORIES
As it stands, there are no concrete rumours surrounding the striker, with time running out for a sale to go through.
Middlesbrough were linked with Bamford. However, these claims were quickly shot down.
Bamford did not register a goal or an assist last season
Considering how much Bamford is costing Leeds in wages alone, the Yorkshire club should simply consider terminating his contract.
It is clear that no club is prepared to pay a fee to take the striker off their hands, and each day that passes, hoping on to the Englishman is proving more costly.
Therefore, if Leeds can reach a mutual agreement with Bamford to terminate his deal, it could work out for both parties.
The Yorkshire side could save thousands, while it could also help the striker find a new club quicker, as he would be a free agent.

Farke need to be ruthless at Leeds
If Leeds are to progress as a club, they must be ruthless in the transfer window.
While releasing players like Bamford may seem harsh, it is the best way to take the Peacocks forward.
Farke has already overseen plenty of departures this summer, with more expected in the coming weeks.

More departures are expected at Leeds this summer
In a Premier League where PSR can be a massive detriment, Leeds need to save every penny they can.
Hopefully, Bamford will no longer be a player at Elland Road by 1 September.
