Matt O’Riley has been linked with a Brighton & Hove Albion transfer exit all summer.
O’Riley left Celtic for a record £26m last August for the Premier League club, but he could be on his way out after just one season.
Italian champions Napoli saw a £25.6m bid rejected by the Seagulls for the Danish midfielder, while their Serie A rivals Roma were also said to be keen.
However, it is Juventus who lead the race to sign O’Riley, and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now dropped a crucial update.

Luiz is a midfielder and his move back to the Premier League is said to be edging closer, and Juventus want to sign O’Riley as his replacement.

Celtic would be due sell-on fee for O’Riley
When Celtic sold O’Riley to Brighton last summer, a 10% sell-on clause was inserted into the midfielder’s contract at the club.
It means the Hoops will be due a chunk of any future transfer fee. Brighton will do their best to make their money back on O’Riley.
So expect Celtic to rake in at least £2.6m if O’Riley is to be sold to Juventus before the transfer deadline on September 1.
