Manchester United pull out of Carlos Baleba move
According to Graeme Bailey speaking to United in Focus this week, Manchester United were set to submit a record bid for Brighton & Hove Albion star Carlos Baleba. However, despite designs on smashing the £89 million fee paid for Paul Pogba, David Ornstein has now revealed INEOS are "not planning to proceed with Carlos Baleba move this summer".
There was "direct contact between clubs but Brighton clear - not for sale", leading the Red Devils to look elsewhere despite the midfielder's own keeness to move.

Last term, Baleba registered four goals and two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. His personal ambitions match recent interest from high places amid claims he wants to win the Ballon D'or after Rodri's success, given the pair feature in similar positions.
