Thanks to her collaboration with the NFL, Beyoncé can officially add another trophy to her collection:

During the 2024 season, Beyoncé performed the halftime show for the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game on Christmas Day. She sang hits from her country album, “Cowboy Carter,” in front of a packed crowd at NRG Stadium. Leading up to kickoff, some fans referred to the Ravens-Texans game as the “Beyoncé Bowl.”

The ratings for this Christmas Day game proved just how big of a star Beyoncé truly is. According to reports, Netflix’s broadcast peaked during the halftime show with 27 million people.

Not only did Beyoncé help Netflix’s ratings, she won an Emmy Award for outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction or reality programming.

Oddly enough, Beyoncé received a warning from the NFL because of her costume. The league was worried the crystals from her outfit would fall onto the turf and potentially cause injuries. They wanted to fine her $500 per crystal.

“They would charge her for each once they found,” an insider told Us Weekly. “It’s for players’ safety because anything like that on the field could cause injury.”

Beyoncé already has 35 Grammy Awards to her name, so she’s no stranger to taking home hardware. Her Emmy Award, however, brings her one step closer to EGOT status.

“Congrats to her,” one fan said.

“LOVE IT,” a second fan wrote on X.

“Excellence in preparation shows up everywhere – from game film to costume design. Emmy recognizes the work that goes into putting on a show that big on Christmas Day,” another fan commented.

“The only thing more unstoppable than the NFL is Beyoncé on stage. Emmy well deserved,” a social media user wrote.

In 2013, Beyoncé headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in New Orleans. She brought out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child as her special guests.

Three years later, Beyoncé joined Cold Play on stage for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.

Who knows? Maybe we’ll see Beyoncé perform at next year’s Super Bowl.
