Bournemouth winger Dango Ouattara has now signed his contract at Brentford and is expected to be announced shortly.
That’s according to Santi Aouna, who reports that Ouattara has signed his contract with the Bees after being authorised to travel for a medical yesterday.
Reports yesterday indicated that Brentford had reached a verbal agreement with Bournemouth for the winger in a deal that is expected to be worth €40m plus bonuses.
That same report indicated that Ouattara had been authorised to fly to London for medical tests with Brentford. They have seemingly gone well, and he’s now signed his contract with the Bees.
Aouna makes no mention of the length of the contract the winger has signed, just that the deal has now been done.
His move to Brentford will likely spark a transfer merry-go-round that will see Yoane Wissa given permission to move to Newcastle United, who are keen on him in a big-money move.
Bournemouth are also likely to enter the market for a replacement and reports in England have stated that they’re close to doing a deal with Liverpool for Ben Doak, who has been pulled out of the Reds squad for tonight’s game against the Cherries as a result.
