One moment in time: KDB serves up a Molineux masterclass](https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/wolves-v-manchester-city-one-moment-in-time-63890609)
It was one that featured a Kevin De Bruyne midfield masterclass as City stormed to a stunning 5-1 Molineux triumph.
The brilliant Belgian bagged a four-goal haul to move City to within touching distance of the Premier League title - and in the process register his first-ever hat-trick.
De Bruyne it was who got City up and running as he fired home on seven minutes.
Wolves responded with a quickfire counter-attack ending with Leander Dendoncker firing past Ederson.
City and De Bruyne would not be denied however and the Belgian restored City’s lead after 16 minutes by smashing in a rebound after Jose Sa had initially beated Raheem Sterling to his pass.
His third goal on 24 minutes - again with his so-called weaker left foot - was the pick of the bunch, and saw him drive towards the edge of the area and curl into the bottom corner.
De Bruyne’s hat-trick was his first for City and at 17 minutes was the third-quickest in Premier League history.
KDB wasn’t done there, striking again after the restart on the hour, this time with his right foot, to further emphasise his quality.
And a night to remember was then sealed when Raheem Sterling scored late on.
