**David Moyes has vowed to find the Everton ‘insider’ who leaked news of Jarrad Branthwaite’s injury.**
Branthwaite will miss Monday’s Premier League opener against Leeds United after picking up a suspected hamstring injury during training earlier this week.
News of the England international’s absence emerged in the days leading up to Moyes’ pre-match press conference with a six-week prognosis forecast.
But while the Blues’ manager insists he will not confirm the defender’s length of absence, he took aim at those who broke ranks to divulge the injury blow..
“Jarrad picked up an injury in training,” confirmed Moyes.
“Unfortunately we are going to miss him but these things happen.”
He added: “I wouldn’t give it (the timeline) anyway, but I’m sure the insider inside the club will give that out, I’m sure of that.
“We have got to find out who is giving the news out. I’m unhappy \[with the news being leaked out\]. All managers don’t like it.
“It’s certainly coming from within our building. It’s up to us to find out and we will do.”
