[Barcelona have confirmed that Jules Kounde](/2025/7/25/24474483/jules-kounde-set-to-sign-new-barcelona-contract-until-2030) has agreed to extend his contract with the Catalan giants until 2030.
Talk of Kounde signing a new contract has been around for a while, and Barcelona have now confirmed that it’s all been agreed and will be signed shortly.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
> “An agreement reached between FC Barcelona and the player Jules Kounde to extend his contract with the Club until 30 June 2030.
>
> “Club and player set to formalise the agreement in the presence of president Joan Laporta soon.”
Kounde is the latest Barcelona player to commit his long-term future to the club, following the likes of Raphinha, Ronald Araujo, Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Gavi in signing on with Barcelona.
The France international has become a regular fixture at right-back for Barcelona and will hope to add more trophies to his collection in the coming years.
