The Milwaukee Bucks have had a wild offseason, but they’re ready for whatever next season might hold.
Last season was another mini-disaster in Milwaukee. With the Bucks struggling through the year as a middle-of-the-pack team, they eventually landed in a first-round matchup with the Indiana Pacers.
Missing Damian Lillard for most of the series, the Pacers were too much for Giannis Antetokounmpo to beat on his own, leading to the Bucks’ third straight first-round exit. With Lillard out for all of next season, the Bucks knew they had to make a big swing, signing Myles Turner on the second day of free agency.
The deal was a shocker around the league, and it left many Pacers fans upset that their center for the past decade bolted for their rival. Naturally, that landed Myles Turner’s return to Indiana on [CBS Sports](https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/2025-26-nba-schedule-release-top-10-must-see-games-from-season-opener-to-lakers-vs-mavericks-and-more/)’ list of the 10 must-see matchups next season.
With Thursday marking the NBA’s schedule release, we now know that Turner will be playing in his old barn on Nov. 3, just a couple of weeks into the new season. Considering how early the matchup is, it’s unlikely that Pacers fans will have had enough time to get over watching the starting center from their NBA Finals team leave for nothing.
For Turner and the Bucks, this will be an opportunity to get a meaningful win for their new addition. As Antetokounmpo hopes to have Turner star alongside him in the frontcourt, it could be a perfect game for that duo to break out in the opening stages of next season.
