The RFEF has forwarded a request to UEFA and FIFA to play the game in the United States and a final decision is now awaited by both clubs.
“I am convinced that the match will be played in Miami. This season yes,” he told Radio Nacional.
“It must be remembered that it is a process that the clubs begin by requesting. Obviously, we are pushing because it seems appropriate to us. It has been the Federation, which other times we got stuck there. Now it’s time for UEFA and FIFA, we’re working on it.”
Hansi Flick was asked for his thoughts on the plan earlier today but didn’t really want to talk about.
He said: “I don’t know what to say, I haven’t thought about it yet. We don’t even know if it will happen, I don’t dedicate time to it. I’m just focused on the next game.”
