The Chiefs are 0-1 this preseason after dropping their first game to the Arizona Cardinals, 20-17. Starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes made an appearance for a single play, where he threw a touchdown. Gardner Minshew then took over, completing six of nine passes for 54 yards and rushing for a touchdown.

The Seahawks ended their first preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders in a 23-23 tie. Quarterback Drew Lock completed 12 of 22 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Jalen Milroe completed six of 10 passes for 61 yards.
