Arsenal transfer target Ademola Lookman has reportedly rejected the chance to move to Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have added heavily this summer, strengthening both in defence, midfield and attack. Their marquee signing is Viktor Gyokeres, who is expected to become the reliable number nine that Mikel Arteta has been crying out for.

However, despite adding a lot of talent this summer, the Gunners would still like one more attacker who can play both on the left-wing and in attacking midfield.
Eberechi Eze has emerged as the main target for Arteta, with the Crystal Palace star also attracting interest from rivals Tottenham. It has been said that Arsenal will only make a bid for Eze once they see at least one player sale.
If the Gunners can’t get a player sale out of the way, Tottenham could swoop in and sign Eze, meaning that Arsenal will have to go after an alternative target instead. One such name is Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman.
Lookman rejects Arsenal move
Lookman has reportedly emerged as a cheaper alternative to Eze, and a player that could still provide a similar return. He is creative, but also pacey, and very capable of scoring a lot of goals if he was to come to the Emirates.
However, it seems as though that won’t be the case, as a report by the Sun says that Lookman has rejected the chance to join Arsenal, as he is preferring a move to Inter Milan this summer.
Inter have made bids on Lookman, but Atalanta are holding out for a fee of at least £43m, a figure that the Champions League finalists are yet to hit. But seeing as Lookman wants the move to Inter rather than Arsenal, the Gunners will have to consider a different alternative to Eze instead.
