Everton are set to begin their Premier League campaign away to promoted side Leeds United, where they will be looking to build from a strong end to last season.
Both David Moyes and Daniel Farke have faced some frustration in the transfer market, but Everton recently recruited Jack Grealish in a high-profile loan deal.
Everton made significant progress after Moyes returned to the club last season, comfortably avoiding relegation, and they will hope to build on this in the upcoming campaign.
The Toffees will travel to Elland Road in their opening fixture, and will want to bring three points back to the brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton could record four consecutive league wins in Leeds clash
Everton ended the last Premier League season in incredible form as they finished with three wins in their final three games, against Fulham, Southampton and Newcastle.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Moyes’ side were flying after the Newcastle win, but lost their momentum as the campaign ended, and Everton endured a mixed pre-season campaign.
Everton have lost their last three opening day matches in a row.
This came after 10 consecutive unbeaten opening day games.
However, if they beat Leeds on the opening day, it will make it four wins from four, a feat they have not managed in 608 days.

Everton’s last three Premier League results
Sean Dyche led Everton to four straight wins in December 2023, against Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Newcastle and Burnley, but the Toffees have not managed this since.
As per Opta, the last time Moyes led Everton to four straight wins was in March 2008, and he could now repeat this feat 17 years later.

Moyes’ record against Farke
Moyes will come up against Farke for just the second time, with the only other meeting a Premier League clash in July 2020.
West Ham won 4-0 away at Farke’s Norwich under Moyes, with Michail Antonio scoring all four goals in a result which confirmed Norwich’s relegation from the top flight.
This was Moyes’ joint-biggest away victory of his managerial career, and he will hope for a similar result to kick the season off against Leeds.
However, Leeds have lost just one of their last 28 league games, storming to promotion as Champions of the Championship, and they also ended last season in excellent form.
