Everton may now sign Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma for David Moyes in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The 28-year-old signed for Spurs in 2022 after an impressive spell at Brighton, but he’s failed to fulfil his potential in North London.
Bissouma has emerged as a target at Bramley-Moore Dock, as the Toffees monitor his situation in N17, as Thomas Frank could potentially push him out.
Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish became the Blues’ sixth signing this summer, but they may not be done with their business just yet.

Moyes demands more Everton transfer amid Bissouma interest
Moyes hasn’t closed the doors on more additions at the Toffees before the end of August.

While the Scottish manager is happy with the players the Blues have signed so far, he’s far from pleased with the overall business.
The 62-year-old head coach feels the Merseyside outfit need greater numbers in their squad, and Bissouma could potentially be the next arrival in L5.

Speaking on Sky Sports News on 15 August, Moyes said: “I’m pleased with the players we’ve added to the squad, but I’m not pleased because I think I still need more. We need greater numbers. And we want to continue to add to what we have.”
While Bissouma wants to stay at Tottenham for another season, he could consider other options in the coming weeks, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The journalist revealed on X on 15 August that the Mali international needs one more year to obtain his British passport, which is a key factor for him.

Bissouma can bring control to Moyes’ midfield at Hill Dickinson
James Garner has thrived in a deeper role for Moyes during pre-season, but more quality is never a bad thing.
Idrissa Gueye has extended his stay at Everton, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him play a much more relaxed role this season.
Carlos Alcaraz became the first player to score at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and he will definitely play a key role for the Merseyside outfit in the coming months.
Bissouma signed for Tottenham in 2022 for £30million.
The 28-year-old was an important player as Spurs won the Europa League last season.
Frank may not have the Mali midfielder in his plans for the 2025/26 campaign.
Bissouma has shown his qualities at Tottenham over the years, but it’s his inconsistency that has let Spurs down on occasion.
If Moyes can bring the best out of the Mali international, then he’ll have a player capable of recovering the ball and keeping possession at the Toffees.
The 28-year-old’s passing abilities and tackling are some of his strong suits, and the defensive-midfielder could potentially be a bargain addition for the Merseyside outfit as his contract expires next summer.
