**Galatasaray have submitted an opening proposal worth €10 million for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, as per a new report.**
Ederson has attracted strong interest from the Turkish giants in the closing weeks of the transfer window, with the 31-year-old entering the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
After failing to engineer a transfer to Saudi Arabia last summer, the Brazilian is believed to be keen on starting a new chapter despite public comments expressing his intentions of honouring the remainder of his Manchester City contract.
Sources close to the Etihad Stadium maintain that Manchester City do not wish to sell Ederson and consider the six-time Premier League part of their plans for the 2025-26 campaign, which begins on Saturday with a trip to Wolves.
However, City would reluctantly sanction a sale for their first-choice goalkeeper for the right price, which has seen the club agree personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma should Ederson leave the club in what remains of the transfer window.
[Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1956628338283368562) has reported that Galatasaray have submitted a formal bid worth €10 million for Ederson, which Manchester City are expected to turn down as it falls below their valuation of the Brazil international.
