Aston Villa ‘burst in with force’ to sign player – Agent can facilite Villa Park move

On Friday, Marca reported Aston Villa have initiated contact over a move for Barcelona’s Héctor Fort and Mundo Deportivo backed it up.

Saturday’s edition of Sport relay Marca’s claim and then share their own updates on the Villans’ pursuit of the right-back.

On Wednesday, the newspaper stated the 19-year-old is evaluating offers and will make a decision on his future next week.

Sport now report that in recent days, the Premier League club have ‘burst in with force’ to sign the fullback this summer. Unai Emery and Aston Villa director Monchi are both value La Masia and well aware of Fort’s potential.

Therefore, the English club are keen on signing the Spain U19 international and initiated contact with the La Liga winners.

Emery currently has Matty Cash and January signing Andrés García as the two right-backs at his disposal. García has been linked to a few La Liga side this summer and his exit can open the door for Aston Villa to sign Fort.

Fort’s agent also counts Emery as a client and the representative could facilitate the deal to take the youngster to Aston Villa. Although Aston Villa are keen, Sport insist they ‘won’t make a large outlay’ to sign him. In other words, they are looking for a reasonable deal.
