Gianluigi Donnarumma’s (26) future lies away from Paris Saint-Germain. Upon the announcement that he had been left out of the European champions’ UEFA Super Cup squad on Tuesday, he took to social media to announce his departure.

However, whilst he has been entirely frozen out of matchday squads, replaced by Lucas Chevalier, who joined PSG last weekend, Donnarumma continues to train with his teammates, as he did once again on Friday, as per a report from L’Équipe.

The Italian is waiting on a move to Manchester City. Ederson, who is nearing a departure from the Premier League giants, has been left out of the Cityzens’ squad to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on the opening day of the Premier League season. The Brazilian is in contact with Galatasaray.

L’Équipe understands that Donnarumma is now close to a move to Manchester City, who also brought James Trafford back to the club from Burnley earlier in the summer.
