Newcastle United are now in full flow when it comes to recruitment after bringing in Aaron Ramsdale, Malick Thiaw and Jacob Ramsey in the last couple of weeks.
Jacob Ramsey's £40 million move has yet to be officially confirmed, but the Aston Villa man was photographed in a Newcastle shirt at St James' Park yesterday, so it's only a matter of time.
Ramsey will fill the gap in the squad left by Sean Longstaff's sale to Leeds United, but if The Daily Mail are to be believed, Eddie Howe could end up with another gap in his squad.
It's believed that Kieran McKenna wants Lewis Miley on loan for the season to help his Ipswich Town side return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Lewis Miley is a loan target for Ipswich Town
A loan move could be ideal for Lewis Miley
The Mail reported yesterday that Ipswich saw a £20 million move for Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney, who had also been linked to Newcastle at one point, turned down and that McKenna is now eyeing Miley.
Lewis Miley missed a lot of football last season after bursting onto the scene in Newcastle's Champions League return campaign as Eddie Howe's squad was depleted with injuries.
The 19-year-old featured heavily in pre-season and looked ready for the season ahead. A popular figure on Tyneside after coming through the Newcastle academy, there is a case to be made for him heading to the Championship on loan.

We don't see Lewis Miley being allowed to leave
Miley isn't guaranteed to get game time with Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton and now Jacob Ramsey ahead of him in the pecking order, so a season playing regularly would really serve him well.
However, it would leave another hole in the squad that we may not be able to fill before the window closes, so to allow him to leave would be a big risk.
We think Newcastle will resist any approaches for their highly-regarded youngster. It's too big a season to run the risk of having a squad that isn't fully fleshed out and ready to go.
