Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has reassured fans that the club's leadership is committed to further bolstering his squad before the transfer window shuts.
The newly-promoted Premier League team, who are set to face Everton in their season opener at Elland Road on Monday, welcomed their eighth summer signing on Friday with the acquisition of free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Leeds have already splashed out just over £75million on Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach and Lucas Perri, with Lukas Nmecha also joining as a free signing, since clinching the Sky Bet Championship title.
Farke has stated there is "still business to be done", saying: "I like to speak openly and honestly about our status and I've given praise to our key people so far. We're on a really good path.
"We've done lots in central defence, central midfield and the goalkeeping position, also the full-back position. I've also made it clear we need to strengthen our squad, perhaps one more full-back, and especially the offence.
"With Dominic it's a first step, an important step for us of course. But there is still business to be done."
Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe, who is also president of club owners 49er Enterprises, stated in May after promotion that "we are going to build the best squad we can with every penny that we're allowed to spend".
Whilst certain supporters have responded unfavourably to Leeds' transfer activity this summer, Farke remains convinced that chief executive Robbie Evans, sporting director Adam Underwood and head of recruitment Alex Davies all harbour identical aspirations.

"Also, as a newly promoted side, you have to be careful in terms of what you can spend, in terms of profit and sustainability rules," Farke added. "You have to be patient because we won't do anything crazy that limits the club for the future.
"But I feel everyone at the club is very ambitious to make sure we have the best possible squad to give ourselves a chance of establishing ourselves at Premier League level.
"The last (few) seasons have proved how difficult it is for newly promoted sides to stay in this league and although several clubs have spent lots of money, it's not a guarantee you will survive. So you have to do it in a smart way and a sensible way and this is what we are trying to do.
"There is no doubt we need reinforcements, especially in the offence. Dominic is definitely a first step, but it can't be the only step. We need a few more."
