The Premier League 2025-26 season has already started with Liverpool putting on a strong display to get a 4-2 win over Bournemouth to start their title defense. Tottenham Hotspur are set to play their opening game of the league campaign today as they take on Burnley.
Although the clubs have started the 2025-26 season, most of the Premier League clubs still have a lot of work to do behind the scenes as the transfer window is still open.
One of the more prominent players in the league who can still change clubs this summer is the Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho. It seems that the Argentine star’s time with the Red Devils is coming to an end, as he has already asked the club for his departure.
As things stand, the forward is currently very keen to join Chelsea. In fact, he has turned down offers from several other clubs and has agreed terms with the Blues.
As per a report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the sides that have been interested in Garnacho. Other clubs that have shown an interest in the player at various points of the summer transfer window include Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, and Aston Villa.
For now, the Argentine is looking to remain in the Premier League and to play in the UEFA Champions League. This makes Chelsea the favorite destination for him. However, Tottenham also meet these criteria, and there is no doubt Spurs could be another enticing option for him.

The Argentine would be a good addition to this Spurs squad
A player of Garnacho’s qualities would definitely be welcome at the North London side, especially at this point in time when they are looking for the replacement of one of their big stars, Son Heung-Min.
Furthermore, Spurs would also be playing in the UEFA Champions League and aiming for a top-four finish in the Premier League and the Manchester United star can definitely help them in both these competitions.
For now, Tottenham seem to be more driven for the signing of the Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze. However, there is no doubt that Garnacho would also be a very interesting option should we decide to change gears.
