Negotiations initiated with Crystal Palace to sign Daichi Kamada

Turkish side Trabzonspor have started negotiations with Crystal Palace over a possible move for Daichi Kamada.

That’s [according to Sabah](https://www.sabah.com.tr/galeri/spor/trabzonspora-premier-ligden-super-10-numara-yildiz-futbolcu-gelmek-istiyor/12), who report that the Crystal Palace midfielder is a target as Trabzonspor look to improve this summer.

They explain that the Turkish side want to add an experienced and technical midfielder to their squad after their various other signings already.

Kamada is the one they currently have their eye on, with his experience in Europe and internationally both highly valued.

Negotiations with Crystal Palace have already been started for the Japanese star and the belief is that Kamada is open to the move. Sabah, say he wants to leave Selhurst Park as he’s not getting the playing time he wants under Oliver Glasner.

Crystal Palace are also reportedly open to selling as Kamada’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season. There’s no mention of an asking price at this moment in time, though.

It seems for now conversations are just happening about the possibility, but with Kamada and Crystal Palace both open to the move, that would suggest there’s a deal to be done if Trabzonspor want it.

The Turkish football media are usually overly optimistic and that may be the case with their view on Trabzonspor’s chances here.
