DANGO Ouattara is very close to a move to the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/)’ Premier League rivals Brentford, the Daily Echo understands.

As reported, the Bees harboured an interest in the forward, with Ouattara telling the Cherries he would like to explore his options this summer.

The two clubs have agreed a deal worth up to £42.5million, a club record for Brentford.

Ouattara was not involved in the Cherries squad that travelled to Liverpool yesterday, with Andoni Iraola saying on Thursday that he was still in the building and the decision would be made by the club if he could travel.

But the Burkinabe did not head to Anfield, and instead looks set to move to London.

The forward has played 88 times for the Cherries after signing from Lorient in January 2023, for a fee of £20m.

Ouattara made 37 appearances last season, scoring nine goals, including a hattrick against Nottingham Forest, and notching four assists.
