Arsenal have announced that 19-year-old attacker Ismeal Kabia has signed a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The Netherlands native made his senior debut under Mikel Arteta in the 2024-25 season, coming off the bench for the final nine minutes of their 5-1 EFL Cup third-round win over Bolton Wanderers.
Kabia also made the bench on a handful of occasions in the Premier League and Champions League, while excelling on the continent in particular for Arsenal's youth team.
The 19-year-old set up four goals in five UEFA Youth League appearances last term, and he scored on the opening weekend of the 2025-26 Premier League 2 campaign for the Under-21s in a 3-2 loss to Fulham after making the trip to Asia for the seniors' pre-season tour.
A product of the Hale End academy since 2017, Kabia has now committed his future to Arsenal and reflected on his major career milestones after the Gunners confirmed his long-term extension.

"I'm very happy with this achievement," Kabia told the official Arsenal website. "I think it's been a good season for me personally. I think I've achieved things I didn't really think I was going to achieve at the start of the season.
"I think my main goal this season is to get more goals and assists. I think, apart from that, I think my game's been pretty all round, but I think that final touch is what I need to really be working on."
Looking back on his senior debut last September, Kabia labelled the experience a "mind-blowing" one, adding: "I think for me personally, it's anything a kid could dream of, honestly.
"I think the eight minutes I did get, even though I didn't really touch the ball too much, even just getting the opportunity to step on the pitch, it's mind-blowing really.
"I think all of the players are really helpful, as in they just help you on the pitch. If you make a mistake, they don't really get onto you too much. I think it's a good environment to be around."
What other Arsenal contract situations must Andrea Berta sort out?
Arsenal's Bukayo Saka reacts on August 9, 2025
Kabia follows the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Gabriel Magalhaes in penning fresh terms this summer, but sporting director Andrea Berta remains under pressure to tie a handful of other senior stars down to a long-term renewal.
All of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli are out out contract in the summer of 2027, and the former two's situations must be addressed as a priority, but there is currently no serious concern about either man's future.
Meanwhile, Arsenal can trigger a 12-month extension in Martinelli's agreement and can therefore put contract talks with the Brazilian on ice for now, especially as the club are also said to be eyeing an upgrade on the left-hand side.
Leandro Trossard and Martinelli have been battling for minutes on that flank over the past two years, but the former is now in the last year of his deal and has also entered his 30s, so his future has naturally been called into question too.
A sale in the summer transfer window is looking increasingly unlikely, so a contract extension is not out of the question, even if just to avoid the prospect of losing him on a free in 2026.
