Crystal Palace are reportedly one of three clubs looking to bring Conor Gallagher back to the Premier League and could replace Eberechi Eze with the Atletico Madrid midfielder.
Spanish outlet Fichajes.net reports that Palace view Gallagher as an "ideal replacement" for Eze, who has agreed personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur. The Eagles are looking to strengthen their midfield for their upcoming Europa Conference League campaign.
Gallagher only joined Diego Simeone's Atletico last summer, arriving from Chelsea in a £33.7m deal, but the Spanish giants are already willing to sell. He appeared 50 times across competitions last season, registering four goals and six assists, but failed to nail down a starting berth at the Metropolitano.

Gallagher previously spent a season on loan at Palace and impressed, winning the club's 2021-22 Player of the Year award. The Epsom-born midfielder made 39 appearances at Selhurst Park, managing eight goals and five assists.
The 25-year-old didn't play under Oliver Glasner during his spell with the Eagles but earned glowing reviews during the season. Steve Parish had confirmed that the club were keen on re-signing him once his loan expired, but he instead broke into Chelsea's first-team.
Palace are now back in for the England international as they search for an Eze replacement during the latter stages of the transfer window. Reports claim that 27-year-old is inching closer towards a move to Spurs and that he's set to miss their season opener away at Stamford Bridge.

Gallagher may be keen to make the switch given he'll want to ensure he gets game time ahead of next summer's World Cup. The Eagles aren't the only club prepared to hand him a return to the Premier League, with Spurs and Newcastle United also in the mix.
All three clubs are willing to meet Atleti's asking price of £42m. He is purportedly earning £200,000 per week in the Spanish capital and may need to take a wage cut to make the switch to fall in line with the South Londoners' wage structure.
Daichi Kamada is Palace's current top earner, sitting on weekly wages of £105,000 per week (per Capology). But Glasner's side could look to raise their wage bill to start bringing high-profile names to Selhurst especially with a debut European campaign this season.
