Arnaud Kalimuendo will be in England tonight for a medical with Nottingham Forest before sealing his move from Rennes.
That’s according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who reports that there is now a total agreement between Nottingham Forest and Rennes for the striker. He adds that Kalimuendo will sign a five-year deal with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
A deal for Kalimuendo has been progressing rapidly throughout this week as Nottingham Forest splash the cash to strengthen their squad.
Reports on Friday had a deal being quickly agreed in principle between the two sides, with Kalimuendo given permission to fly to England for a medical.
Hawkins now reports that will take place tonight as he’s due to be in England at some point this evening.
It appears Rennes have given him permission to travel to undergo a medical with Nottingham Forest as there’s now a total agreement between the two sides for the striker. He’s also agreed a five-year deal.
There’s no mention of the fee involved at this moment in time but reports elsewhere have had it valued at around €30m in total for the 23-year-old.
