Everton’s trip to Elland Road is very quickly creeping up, with David Moyes’ side closing the opening weekend against Leeds United.
Moyes has endured a turbulent summer on Merseyside, with no pre-season wins under their belt at all.
Despite some big additions, Moyes is still demanding more signings as he really looks to push this Everton side forward.
Exciting times under the Friedkins look to be lying in wait for the fans, who will be counting down the days for the first Premier League game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Paul Merson is expecting Everton to beat Leeds on Monday, but it seems some feel it will be a closer affair.
Chris Sutton has shared his own prediction, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin joining Leeds in time to play against his old club.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin expected to score for Leeds vs Everton
Moyes shared exactly why Calvert-Lewin left Everton this summer, as he sought a fresh start elsewhere at the end of his contract.
Daniel Farke revealed that Calvert-Lewin will be in line to play on Monday evening, with Everton fans hoping he does not find the back of the net.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Speaking to BBC Sport, Sutton has admitted that he can see that happening in typical fashion.
‘They will have a real go at Everton under the floodlights and Elland Road is going to be rocking, so this is a tough opening for the Toffees.
‘I feel sorry for Everton boss David Moyes, because he overachieved so much when he took over in January,’ he said.
‘That has increased expectation for this season but, although they have managed to bring in Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry, Moyes has not been able to strengthen his squad the way he wanted.
‘One of the players who left Everton this summer, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, looks like he is set to join Leeds this week.
‘We know there is a talent in there, he has just had so many injuries. If Calvert-Lewin joins Leeds in time, it would not surprise me at all if he scores on Monday and gets his new team a point against his old one – wouldn’t that be typical?’
Calvert-Lewin hit back at an Everton fan, after it was suggested the striker had earned himself a downgrade by joining Leeds.
Everton have added their own attacking strength over the summer, with Simon Jordan praising the decision to move on from Calvert-Lewin.
Everton want to make a statement against Leeds
Of course, Moyes will be eyeing three points on Monday evening, with Everton keen to really push on this summer.
Everton are targeting a European finish having seen the likes of Nottingham Forest defy the odds last season.
Heading into the first Premier League game at the new stadium, the Toffees will want any pressure of a first win taken off their shoulders.
Facing Leeds at Elland Road is never going to be an easy task, and their fans will certainly be up for the occasion.
Three points will ease any pressure on the Blues and mark a brighter start than they made last season under Sean Dyche.
